7 degree Medium Cruising Blade with 34" Shaft, red cedar, spanish cedar and black walnut blade edges with cherry at the tip. Black walnut wraps the blade edges and blends seamlessly into black walnut grip side lams. Shaft faces are spanish cedar with cherry grip faces and a walnut cap. A 7 degree bend has an unusual capability which I have never been able to adequately explain. It facilitates the use of a traveling C stroke in a solo canoe. 11 degree Small Cruising Blade with 34" Shaft, We make very few bent shaft paddles so these are rare birds.  Red cedar and spanish cedar I obtained from Tom MacKenzie are the principal blade woods with black walnut edges, cherry blade tip and hickory edge wrap. Shaft faces are spanish cedar and lower grip side laminations are black walnut. The Quimby grip has cherry faces and a black walnut cap. This is an excellent choice for tandem canoes and it weighs 647g or 22.8 ounces.                                    $800.00

                                                             Thank You!

I have found over time that paddles can be made most efficiently in groups of four. When I need to get some done and there are less than four ordered, I fill the group out with a paddle of my own choice. These paddles are sometimes designed with a fairly standard combination of wood species or I may indulge my desire to try a new and unusual combination. The Eco and Ottertail paddles are a recently finished project and there will be a limited number available in stock.
